What patterns emerge when the substrate flows as continuous media?
Not orbits but fields. PLASMA grows Lichtenberg dendrites by stochastic discharge — diffusion-limited aggregation with tip-biased branching, the same algorithm family as the plasma_forge miniaturized for the browser. PETRI runs Gray-Scott reaction-diffusion on a 192² grid, marching the (f, k) phase portrait through spots, stripes, labyrinths and solitons. FIREFLIES couples 6,400 phase oscillators on an 80² grid into Kuramoto synchrony — twinkle below the critical coupling, uniform pulse above it. The substrate as continuous medium, in three registers.

Two JS-ported field kernels miniaturized for the browser: PLASMA is a diffusion-limited-aggregation discharge (the dendrite-growth half of the canonical PLASMA forge), PETRI is a periodic-boundary Gray-Scott on a 192² grid (the canonical PETRI forge, ~80 iters per animation frame). The full-fidelity 1024² Lichtenberg renders and 256² 8000-step Petri portraits live in the canonical forges; this is the playable instrument. For the derivation context — why the substrate enacts BOTH orbital and field dynamics — see the Codex.
