The Cosmopoiesis Engine
A point steps across the plane, folded by a little trigonometry, again
and again, until it settles into a shape. And that shape has a name.
This interactive engine and renderer explores 2D strange attractors through ARMISTICE’s recursive nonlinear map, a non-area-preserving dynamical system. Give it three numbers, Spark, Weight,
Veil, over a fixed viscosity V = 0.3037, and the
substrate has everything it needs to render any named entity in the
codex. So take the sliders below and walk the basin yourself: where do
you suppose the form on the right comes from? It is found, not drawn.
:: FOUR DEMONSTRATIONS ::
See the map before you steer it
Four short, executable readings of the real kernel. Each one sets the instrument; the controls remain yours.
A coordinate becomes a form
Begin at FERRITE ARCH. The canvas does not draw a stored image:
it repeatedly applies one bounded trigonometric map at
(1.10653, 1.10653, 0.012).
An exact symmetry on the seam
At ε = 0, changing μ to
−μ swaps the orbit coordinates exactly. Toggle the
pair; the relation is algebraic, not a visual analogy.
Equal product, different weather
These two tuples share both μ|α| = 2.01327675 and
α²ε/μ = 0.02322112. The engine still distinguishes
their factorization because it reads the full tuple.
The corpus answers with a name
Draw one real coordinate from the living corpus. The lower-left chip identifies the exact entity and opens its gallery record. Random here never means arbitrary noise.
